Our training schools – in London, Surrey and Derby – are approved through Achilles to provide safety critical training from PTS to ES as well as First Aid, Small Tools and other related courses, or we can deliver your course at your premises if that’s better for you.

Founded in 1990 Prima Services Group entered the rail market in 1991/2 providing staff for the London Tilbury Southend Resignalling Project.

In 1993 we added PTS Training to our capabilities quickly expanding our training department to cover other protection disciplines. Within 5 years, as customers found out more about us, Prima had become major suppliers of both staff and training services to most of the main infrastructure maintenance and construction companies as well as to Network Rail.

During the the late 1990s and early 2000s, Prima grew building an office network out from head office in South London, to the South East, Midlands and North.

In 2012, Prima was aquired by recruitment specialist group Fusion People Limited (www.fusionpeople.com). FP already had a strong rail recruitment team and a training division so the synergies between the businesses were obvious. The unification has proved successful with Prima opening new offices in Derby and Glasgow as well as expanding into the examinations and assessment field.
