INDIVIDUAL WORKING ALONE (IWA) INITIAL COURSE
There are a number of roles which may require you to be able to work on Network Rail infrastructure on your own. This 3 day course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to perform the duties of an Individual Working Alone on Network Rail infrastructure.  

• Your valid sentinel card

INDIVIDUAL WORKING ALONE (IWA) RECERTIFICATION COURSE
A 2 day course to renew your IWA competence. This must be done within 8 weeks of the expiry of your current IWA. (You cannot go ‘on track’ alone with an out of date IWA competence on your sentinel card).

• Your valid sentinel card
• Your current log book (including assessment)

Please ensure that your Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen are valid and in date.

Failure to bring the required documentation may mean under current rules that you will be unable to undergo the training.

Delegates may not consume alcohol at any time during the course or for 8 hours prior to any training session. Failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the course.
